Lintels
Maximum length: to 2850mm, Plain and Stopped-chamfered versions are reinforced to load-bearing standards so that a separate steel Lintel is often not needed. Splayed-end versions are reinforced for handling purposes only and require structural steel support.

Supplied as plant-on versions, to suit each standard Lintel height (for plain lintels only).

LINTELS: STRUCTURAL
(Applicable to Rectangular Lintels and Stopped-chamfered Lintels)
Lintels which are reinforced for structural (loadbearing) purposes have a maximum (uniformly distributed) loading capacity of 3kN per metre run.
LINTELS: NON-LOADING
(Applicable to Splayed-end Lintels)
Non-loadbearing Lintels are reinforced for handling purposes only and MUST be supported by other structural steels.
